Sort of a DW, when to send STD
FI and I are getting married in Maine next May. We are from the Boston area and I'd say about 80% of our guests are too.
My family (grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins) have homes in the town in Maine that we are getting married in so they are familiar with the area and most of them won't need hotel accommodations.
FI's family is not familiar with the area and most probably have never been to the town we are getting married in so they will need to book hotel rooms, etc.
The wedding ceremony and reception are about an hour and a half away from Boston so people will be traveling but not too far so its technically a DW but not a very far destination.
I'm wondering when we should send out the save the dates...
