No but really, I am trying to keep it very small...I just dont want to look like I have no friends!

I don't think so at all. think about people who have NO people up there....or 12 people on each side. Your photos will look great. And don't worry about the number of people.

My DH only had 2 GM on his side.  He did not look lonely at the altar or in the pictures.  He looked happy with his two good friends.

There is no "right" number set by Emily Post. The "right" number is however many (Or few) women/men in your life that you can't imagine getting married without them standing up with you.

Also, I'd like to point out that I, personally, only had 3 BMs: my 2 sisters and DH's sister. His side was his 2 closest friends and my brother. Yes, we had even sides, but that wasn't something that we planned, it just worked out that way.

I didn't ask any of my friends to be in my BP (After seeing some of my other friends deal with friend "drama" in their BPs, I decided that I wanted just the people that were "stuck with me for life", lol), but I did make sure that the ones I was closest to received and invitation, and they were all more than happy to attend.

Nobody's going to judge you for only having 2 attendants ... nobody will probably even really pay much attention to how many you have. Everybody that's there is for you and your FI, they're just going to be too busy being happy for you both to wonder about the numbers.

You are over-thinking this.  Two is fine!  I had my 2 daughters and stepdaughter as BMs, and DH had his best friend, son, and my brother as GM.  It won't look 'bare' if you don't have 37 people in your WP.

Hey its ok bc all i want is a total of 3 ppl with me. my moh and two bm. I was thinking the same thing but everyone I know is saying its ok

I just have my 2 sisters, and FI has a groomswoman. Our pictures won't be bare because they will be filled with people we love. Also, BMs are not props, so it doesnt matter how many there are.

What ever number you want.  Like the others have said.  I have ended up with 4, and a flower girl.  His side hasn't been totally nailed down other than my brother as one of the groomsmen.

I'm only having a maid of honor and best man. Keeps things simple and all my friends can relax and enjoy themselves.
