I voted heels also but mine were only 2" tall, which most people consider on the short side.  I wore them all night, though my feet were killing me by the end!

I wore mules with a 1.5" heel. Originally, I wanted flats, but when I tried these on, I fell in love - they were SO sparkly! :-)

Yeah, FI is 6'5" and I'm 5'1" so I'm going with 2 or 3 inch wedges. If I'm in flats I only come up to his chest. I'd like to be a little taller standing next to him. Plus the height will help with the first dance.

I wore 3  1/2 in heels most of the night and through the first dances. Then I changed into chunky platform flip flops for the rest of the evening.

If you're looking for a place nearby, try posting on your local board.  If you're interested in looking online, I'd try zappos.com and dsw.com (there may be a DSW in Austin).

FI and I are both wearing custom chucks for the wedding...they're shoes we both wear all the time, so it just feels right.  Plus it's an easy way to add a pop of color!
