** Married Ladies**

I read the post further down about people not showing up for the wedding some you knew of before hand... some of you said you were able to fill the seats... How did you ask people? We are a few people under our 175 miniumum and people seems to be backing out every day (awesome!!). There are some people that I would like to invite but dont want it to seem like Im only inviting them so I can fill seats. So, the question is ... How did you ask? How did people feel about it? Did you give them an invite?

We did not give them an invite since it was very last minute.  I just discussed with them the meal options and made the changes with the venue.  My add ons were co-workers who knew I wasn't able to afford to invite all of them (even though I wanted the majority of them there).  They were thrilled and honored (at least they acted like it) to be able to come.  :)

We asked a few friends to come since we had to cut a lot of friends. It wasn't awkward b/c they knew that we were tight on money.

We had lots of "must" invites. We were very forthcoming with our friends that numbers were tight. There were SO many people that we would have invited had budget allowed. It was easy to fill spotsof those who were unable to attend.Eugene called his friends and asked how they would labout coming. They were THRILLED. We did not send them an invite. E just told them what time to show up. :)
