Fall Wedding, Groom's Attire

We are planning a wedding for October 1, 2011 in Pennsylvania. We don't want a "formal" wedding, but we are being married indoors at a church and then having a reception at a nearby hotel ballroom.

I'm thinking of having the bridesmaids wear chocolate brown dresses and I thought that the groomsmen could wear beige/tan suits with a brown tie.

Is it considered taboo or inappropriate for the men to wear beige in the fall for an indoor wedding?

I think it's fine, but beware not all men look great in beige- blondes are sometimes really washed out by them. But if it works for them, go for it, it's perfectly fine!

We are getting married in October. We picked a chocolate brown BM dress and the guys are wearing tan suits with chocolate vests.

We got married in the fall. Girls wore brown dresses. Guys wore black tuxes with black vests and ties. If you don't want it to be that formal, go with black suits.

It's fine... sounds like a lot of beighe and brown... you know, the groom's men don't have to "match" the bridesmaids, just coordinate...
I like the idea of the tan suits, but mauybe use an accent color for the ties?

I'm getting married October 2, 2010, and the girls are going to be wearing Burnt Orange dresses and the guys are going to be in Brown tuxes or suits...I have to pick out the exact one yet, but they are going to be brown.  I think your color combo would be fine as long as you could tie it all together with flowers because it is a lot of brown shades and you don't want it to be too drab!  Good luck!
