Trash the Dress

Hey All!

....i have decided that i would like to do a trash the dress (with my wedding dress) shoot....

Anyhow, what shoes do i wear? Do i wear my original wedding shoes? I got married in a pair of Jimmy Choos (these got very grubby!)? Husband thinks i should?
What do you guys think?

First of all, please don't highlight your post in black and use coloured font. It's really annoying.

Secondly, just use the wedding shoes. Are there really going to be that many shots showing your shoes?

To answer your question, many brides accessorize differently for their TTD/Rock the Frock photo shoots. Wear whatever you want.

I'm not a huge fan of "trash the dress."  Why would you want to ruin your $500 shoes?

It depends... I would say buy new ones so as not to ruin your $600 shoes, but if you buy new ones, are you going to drop another $600 on them? Or are you going to pay $20 like a sensible person?  Go with whatever is cheaper. After all, it's called "trashing" for a reason.

There are  a lot of "Trash the Dress" Shoots that actually don't destroy the dress- it just gets it a bit more dirty than usual (sitting on rocks, etc), nothing that a little cleaning can't take care of afterwards. Even some water shots can be fixed aftewards. I want to do one, but it wouldn't ruin the dress, just get it a bit more soiled. 

OP, what type of shoot are you doing? Are you doing paintball or sitting in trees? Do you love your shoes? Would it ruin them? If it would ruin the shoes (water probably would), I would choose some cheap shoes. If not (standing on a rock, swingset, etc), wear them!

I would get new shoes. If you arent going to save the dress dont you want to save something you wore to your wedding? shoes would be that something
