Which Dress??

Re: Which Dress??

  • I just bought my wedding dress a few weeks ago.. and frankly if you have to ask because you aren't sure, then none of them are the right dress. When I put on THE DRESS I did not want to get out of it.Overall I think the Mermaid style like #3 looks the best on you... it really slims you down.. however I do not care for the strap going across your back.. its really unflattering.

  • I love dress 3! It's unusual looking, and the back makes it stand out (in a good way) from the millions of strapless dresses out there.
  • I agree. Keep looking - not because they aren't beautiful dresses, but because you don't absolutely love them. I went shopping for my dress every week for over two months and probably tried on over 100 dresses. I was not enjoying the experience anymore, I was exhausted and I was ready to give up. But I didn't, and I finally got that "this is it" feeling that everyone told me I'd get. It was also the first dress that I didn't ask anyone else, "Do you like it?" because I didn't care if they liked it or not. It was the perfect dress for me.
  • I like 1 or 3! 3 being my fav! GL! :)

  • I love this, I put my dress up to a vote and there was a clear winner!!!I say 1 or 2...but not the other 2.I love number 1!!! Very pretty...but you look best in number 2...also very pretty just not that different then other dresses I have seen
  • I think #1 is the best of the bunch, because the criss-cross helps define a waist for you, but I still don't think it's as good as you can get. Try to find dresses with a corset back. I think that will really help you define your waist better. I had a corset back, and it made my not very tiny waist look SOO great. And then the rest of the dress just looked awesome because of it.
  • I agree with the pp. #1

  • You are very beautiful...I'm sure you get told that a lot! I really loved dress number 1 on you and my second favorite would be dress 3! Good luck making your final decision!! :)
  • I just read through other peoples' comments and I really think that it's okay to ask for opinions on your gown. Not everyone knows exactly when they have found "the one," especially if you don't have family living close to you!! :) And even if you ask for opinions, sometimes others aren't very nice with what they are telling you....there are sites like weddingbee and weddingbycolor that I always recommend if you want opinions, but don't want others bashing you and your dress choices. You are beautiful and deserve to feel so in your gown!!!
  • I like number three best, but I also like number one because you seem the most comfortable in it. :-) Hope this helps!

  • #1 or #3 look the best on you, IMO.  Very figure flattering, like the neckline, nice silhouette, have the simple but elegant appeal without being boring.  Either would be a great choice.  Which dress felt more you?
  • I like #1 the best, but I think you should keep looking. You'll know when you put on "the dress". I made the mistake of buying a dress simply because it was on sale (it was a gorgeous dress, just not the right one for me), and then regretted it for the next week. I finally decided to try on more dresses and when I put on my new dress I started crying and didn't want to take it off. I had a very emotional reaction to it... and I'm not a super emotional person. So... keep looking, you'll find it!
