Re: Maggie Sottero- Rachelle dress

  • http://tinyurl.com/mt42b3There are 4 for sale on that link, and 2 look like legit places to buy from, the one's over 1k... the one's for a few hundred dollars are knock off's.
  • thank you buttonspepper...the only problem i have is i wanted to try it on in a local bridal store and no one has a sample. im wondering if its not out yet.
  • It may not be... the salon's that are licensed to sell maggie's should be able to directly call the makers and find out if/when the dress will be released for them to purchase.
  • thank you so much for your help. ill have to start asking them to find out for me.
  • I was searching high and low for a hair comb I couldn't find ANYWHERE, and no shop had any idea. I called an authorized dealer I found on the direct manufactur website, and she was able to call the designer, find out the name/price/and order it for me. I didn't order it because of $$$$$$$, but authorized dealers should have the contact info. to call the designer and get what you need. I hope you find your dress, good luck!
  • This was posted for someone on another thread:Private Company, Headquarters Location2300 S 1070 W, Salt Lake City, UT 84119, United States(801)975-8303, (801)975-8211 fax, http://www.maggiesottero.comAlso, depending on how new the dress is Maggie Sottero has a loaner program where dresses can be loaned to bridal shops for a certain length of time...the bridal shop will charge you (anywhere from $50-75) to have it shipped in but usually if you end up buying the dress they will put that money towards the cost of the dress. Not all dresses are part of the loaner program but it's worth a shot.
  • P.S. In regards to it being discontinued:How will I know if a style will be discontinued any time soon? Select styles are discontinued each fall and spring. Images are removed from our website prior to the effective date, so continue to check our on-line collection to see if your gown is still available. If the gown you are interested in can no longer be found on our website, please visit you're nearest authorized Maggie Sottero retailer as soon as possible for any available options. My guess is that's it's probably a newer dress...I wanted to try on josephine and was told it won't be out until January 2010, however I found a store that was able to put me on the loaner program list on Oct 1 2009...the bridal shop called corporate and found out all this info for me
  • I'm also desperate for this dress.  A bridal shop in San Diego is doing the loaner program for me (it's a new one) and they aren't charging me anything so that I can see it.  My only concern is that it might be a bit out of my price range.  :(
  • I had a bridal shop in San Diego that was going to get it for me on the loaner program. They called me back today and told me that it is part of Maggie's Fall '09 collection, and as a result, they won't even know if the dress is part of the loaner program for a few months. If it is, they said that they won't even be able to get it in for me to see until January or maybe February. My wedding is in July, and that barely leaves me enough time to get it (and that's if I love it). I wish someone would tell Maggie Sottero that it IS fall '09 and she should release the dress already. Why do they even have it on the website (as opposed to on a special "sneak peek" page or something) if we can't buy it?
  • I'm amending my earlier statement.  I called Maggie Sottero directly yesterday (a BIG thanks to whoever posted that number!) and they told me that 4 stores in CA had it and gave me the names and numbers.  She "couldn't" tell me why the stores would have lied to me, but my guess is that because the girl at M.S. was calling it a "sample" that the stores ordered, it costs money.  Instead of telling me that, stores told me it was impossible to get until January.  Hope you have luck finding it.
