Maybe THE dress.

Here is my clear frontrunner, and maybe even THE one.  There are a couple issues with it that were due to not having the proper undergarments (i.e. armpit spillage), and so I plan to go try it on again after I acquire the right stuff to wear underneath before I make the final decision.  In the mean time, I'd love to have your opinions. Okay....I thought I knew how to post pics, but I guess not.  I posted them using the URL code from the photo sharing site I use, apparently that's not the way to go. Any ideas?

I think its a very pretty dress, but somehow those points near your arm pits look like cat ears to me.  It would be perfect if it had a sweetheart neck line.  JMO

I like this dress, but something about it isn't working for me...maybe the neckline, as the PP suggested I think you would look nice with a sweetheart top.

I actually did try on a similar dress that had a sweetheart neckline...I liked the neckline much better, but overall, the dress just wasn't as flattering.One thing that I think will help with the neckline will be to wear a bra that fits properly and possibly use some "boob tape."  The bra they gave me at the dress shop didn't fit very well, so my girls were kind of just going where ever. Also - I plan to drop a few pounds. Nothing major...maybe 5-10.  I know they say you shouldn't buy a dress counting on losing weight to make it fit, but speaking from experience, I know that losing even 5 pounds would make a difference in my armpit fat.

I have been told that changing a top to a sweetheart is an easy modification for a seamstress.  Could you ask the salon before you purchase if this is something they could do?

The top doesn't bother me.  I think it's really pretty.  If you change it to a sweetheart top, you might loose some of the cute detailing that makes the dress unique.

I really like the cut of the top! I think that is what makes the dress unique. You look gorgeous in it, too!

By the way- I tried that dress on too! It was my "almost" the one, but I wanted lace. And, it looks WAY better on you!!

I actually do like the cut of the top, just not *quite* as much as the sweetheart.  I will check into having it made into a sweethear, but I'm sort of torn about it.  I do think this top is more unique.  I think part of the problem with this cut, as it is, is that my armpit spillage makes the points poke out a little. Hopefully dropping a couple pounds combined with the proper boob tape will fix that if I decide not to have it changed to sweetheart!

Your seamstress should be able to convert it to sweetheart, but I like it the way it is. A good seamstress will be able to make it lie properly on your body, even if you don't lose any weight.

I actually like it as is.  I think the sweetheart neckline would look a little off.

Oh my goodness...this dress is perfect for you!!! The style is very flattering and I have to agree that the sweetheart neckline would just make it even more perfect!! I love the back of the gown as well.
