Shrug or a Stole? Advice Please!

I am going to be taking a carriage ride during my wedding and wanted to have either a shrug or a stole.  I don't think either will do that great a job keeping me warm if it's cold, but I wanted advice on which type would look best with my dress.  A shrug would keep the neckline of the dress visible, but a stole seems to have a real '50s or '60s look that I love.  Please see my bio under bridal attire and let me know if you have advice!  Also, do you think I should go for Ivory?  I am considering maybe a tan/pale brown color.  Thanks!!!

I love what you did with the dress. It's perfect for you. Plus your shoe brooches will stand out. I personally like the idea of a stole. A shrug may be too cumbersome. I just checked on ebay and there is a cute ivory one for sale for only $22. That way, if it's too warm out to use it, you've only spent $22! Check it out and let me know what you think.
