Ok, ladies, so after being so disappointed last Friday with the dresses with the french tucks that are all the rage right now (including two of my favorite Maggie Sottero dresses - which look stunning on that model that's in almost all of the pics
), I was so discouraged. I'm only 5'1" and a street size 6 and the ballgowns and a-lines were swallowing me up or just making me look heavy. Thank you so much for your support.I went out with my Mother and we found my dress. It's a Demetrios Ilissa Style 900. Ladies, if you are in Atlanta and you like Demetrios, I recommend seeing Tamika at the Brides by Demetrios store in Buckhead on Peachtree Street. She was great, very patient, and fun! She picked my dress as I had not tried on any trumpet style dresses. I tried it on and loved it.Here's a pic - although the model's shoe is showing. I think the dress is a little short on her. It's a mermaid style and I ordered the dress to be made with an extra half yard added to the "tail" to extend the chapel train to semi-cathedral (or thereabouts) and will have them alter it to include more of a plunge at the sweetheart neckline.
