Outdoor wedding - train or no train

We are having the ceremony in a flower graden/park on a lake Michigan.  The aisle will be a sidewalk.  I thought I wouldn't want a train on my dress, but I tried on one yesterday with a train and I loved it!  Anyone have an outdoor wedding and wear a train dress?  Pros - cons?  I thought if it did rain before and things were still wet I'd just bussel it...

I had an outdoor wedding, wore a train, and it rained (more like poured for days) right up until 20 minutes before the ceremony. Everything was fine. My dress really didn't get dirty (it actually got more dirty at the indoor reception).

That's a debate I have been playing back and forth in my mind as well.. I think if you found a dress you absolutely love and it has a train then go for it!

My wedding was outside, but I still wore a dress with a train.  I didn't have any problems.

I had an outdoor ceremony and my dress didn't get that dirty. I even went walking through a cemetery and it still didn't get that dirty. Don't worry about it.
