Re: More Opinions Please :-))...

  • Mori Lee (#1)I think it is more flattering and more bridal.
  • I thought the allure one was interesting when I first saw it on you - I liked the V neck look because it was different. However, I love the Mori Lee one on you  - given a choice of the two, I think I would pick that one because  I like the way that it drapes on you.  The front of the dress looks fabulous - soft and romantic.  Only thing I would nit pick about it is how the back of the dress pulls up around your rear.  Love it down to the waist but the way it pulls up bugs me a little for some reason.  Otherwise, great dress.  :)    As for the "headlight" comment, I don't really see that aspect  - however, if you look at the picture of you showing off the back of the dress, check out your reflection in the mirror (what people would see from far away.)  The way the dress is made draws the eye to your chest area when looking at you from afar.  Still love it but I can see how it will draw attention to your chest. My two cents - the great thing is that you have the figure to pull off either one.  :)
  • Dress #1.  It fits better at the top than the second dress.
  • I strongly dislike the allure. But, love the mori lee on you! GL!

  • That won't work with me. I made the decision to spend the extra $400 to order my gown from the ladies who spent hours of their time helping me out rather than undercutting them by ordering it online. it was a difficult decision, but i am so proud of myself for doing it. yes, i paid for it myself. i worked a full time job and a part time job for 2 yrs since we were paying for everything ourselves.i know not everybody will do the same, and you are free to make your own decision. but i strongly believe in actually purchasing your gown from the ladies who spent their time with you to help you make the decision! just my opinion.like i said, #1 is gorgeous. good luck!
  • I love the mori lee! its way more flattering to your figure!
  • ~SarahSmile~  Thanks for the opinion on the dress.  I know that everyone has different situations and each person will make the best choice for themselves.  I still haven't made mine officially yet but I'm looking at my options and that one just seems great!!  That money I'm saving could also be used for alterations.  Maybe your sales lady was there with you every step during your visit with them.  We were pretty much left alone since it was busy there that day. Thankfully I had my mother with me.
  • Yes, my sales lady was extremely helpful! I understand that each person's experience infuences her decisions, and if you don't feel you got stellar service you may have trouble justifying the additional expense. Good luck! :)
