Cage veils???

Ok, so I hate the idea of a big poufy 'traditional' veil, so I was thinking about going with a cage veil.  Some of them look kinda weird though.  I'm looking at one that sits on the side and comes down to the eye.  But I'm some what conflicted about them....  What do ya'll think?  Goofy or Glam??

I think they are glam and sexy!!!  I really want to wear one for my wedding...I agree with you on the poofy veils, I tried some on at the bridal store and was like blah!  But the bridal store didn't have any birdcages for me to try on so I haven't made any final decisions yet.  Go for it!

that's my plan too. Well, maybe having it come down a little lower, but still the basic idea.

They are glamorous if you know how to wear them properly. It's like wearing a hat and many women wear a hat at the back of their head, oh so wrong. Make sure your dress can handle a cage veil and your hair has to be styled to compliment the veil. Cage veils are popular, but they are not for everyone, even those who want to wear one.

I love them. I think they are classic, glam, sexy....love them. I wish I'd worn one.

Cage veils are very chic, classy with a throwback to the 20s but definitely different. I'm thinking of wearing one and pinning a large flower or feather clip on the side close to the back of it to add some of that WOW factor!

Thanks for all the posts!!!  I will probably end up going with the cage veil.  We're having a private ceremony in December.  My dress is a knee length and fitted.  I think it would look sexy with the cage veil and possibly powder blue high heels??????
