Marisa Gowns

I went to a shop in Andover, MA this week and found a gown I LOVED by Marisa. When i asked if it had a name, the woman I was working with said it didn't have one or didn't have any more ID-ables. I've never heard of this before? Has anyone else worn Marisa - do they have names or IDs? Please help!

Re: Marisa Gowns

  • I am a Marisa bride (PIB, me in sample style #726)! Usually the dresses have style numbers instead of names. That is shady the woman at the shop would not give you the style number. I would be careful of a shop that wont give you information on a gown you like. My dress shop actually wrote down all the style numbers of the dresses I liked and provided me the list to take home with my prior to my purchase. Perhaps if you can describe it, someone can give you the style number here or, call Marisa directly.
  • Marisa copies a lot of designers and to avoid any law suits they just do not put any of the newer gowns up online. If you contact one of their leading stores, such as Pearl's Place, you can find out about the gown, get a good price and they can send you a sketch. I have several friends who did and all are very happy. You might also do that and email RK in New York as they can help also, I think. But Pearls will for sure.
  • I found my Marisa in Andover, MA (Christina's) as well--809. I think they told me the number. I found this the best place to ID Marisa dresses--they have descriptions for most, anyway.http://www.victoriasbridalcouture.com
