Need a little white dress-- FAST!

Heyy!  Ok so we are eloping to mexico (kinda..)  we are having a justice of the peace marry us before we leave bc my dad wants to give me away... but we are having a private, intimate ceremony on the beach once we get there... and thats where im wearing y real wedding dress.  Now, I need a little white dress for the justice of the peace... i want to get ONE dress for that, that I can wear to the reception which is an outdoor semi-formal thing.  I dont want TOO simple (not a cotton dress), but I dont want a fancy dress either (im doing a trash the dress thing in mexico so I cant hem my dress... which crossed my mind..)

Any ideas on where to look? I need the dress by the middle of august and I have been going to the malls around here and havent had much luck... any online stores you would reccommend?  I do not want to spend more than $100 on this dress... any help is appreciated

i think your best bet is to keep looking at department stores and malls. i live in canada so i've never been but i keep hearing how david's bridal has sales all the time. you may be able to find a dress for around $100 there. as well try craigslist you may be able to get a inexpensive used dress.

I was going to suggest David's Bridal.  They have really cute dresses that you may be able to purchase off the rack.

White House Black Market is having a sale right now, I got my 'LWD' there.  J Crew also has a ton of their cocktail/bridesmaid dresses in Ivory and Champagne as well as some very pale colors.

What size are you? I am seling an absolutely BEAUTIFUL short knee-length white Aidan Mattox dress I got at Bloomingdale's in NYC a few years ago on Ebay (retail value $400). I am selling it for $100 (including the price of shipping). It is white with jewels on the straps and a criss-cross pattern with the straps in the back. It has only been worn one time, but I have no use for it anymore! If you're interested, let me know, I would be happy to send you pictures and/or more information.

I love a lot of David's Bridal knee length dresses.  They used to have one that was very similar to my wedding dress.  They tend to be around $100, but I believe thre are some that are less if you look at the online sale and outlet sections.

Like many posted above Davids Bridal has really cute shorter dresses.  The have a huge selection of short white dresses on sale because its post graduation season!  Good Luck
