Never Bought Anything Off Etsy...NERVOUS!

I'm in love with a couple flower girl dresses on Etsy, but I haven't ever bought anything from there before.  I'm so nervous that things aren't going to work out.

These are some of the ones I've looked at.

I love the simplicity and the natural cotton.  I cannot seem to fall in love with anything store bought.

  • First they are adorable, second as long as its a reputable seller I think it is fine. I've never heard anything bad about people who have ordered off of there and I personally have ordered from there with great success!

[QUOTE]I've bought several things on Etsy and always had a good experience.  I always make sure I understand their return policy, shipping charges, etc before I buy. Make sure to read feedback on the seller before you buy as well.  Both of those sellers you linked to have 100% positive feedback.

This. I've bought a bunch of things from Etsy, but just started doing so when we were planning the wedding. So far I've gotten my ring bearer pillow, my bridal purse, the stamp we're going to use when we're married (for return addresses on envelopes), and my card box. No problems at all with any of them!!

  • Same! I have bought several things off Etsy and don't have a single negative thing to say.

This. I have ordered several things from Etsy and have never had an issue. The sellers I have used have been great to work with.

Use the Paypal function if you are really worried. It makes it easier to get your money back if there is an issue. Plus, once you have an account it's so much easier to buy things.

  • I agree with PP. I've bought a few things off Etsy for our wedding and have been very happy with everything and have already saved more sites for things I'd like to get when I'm working again. Just make sure that you understand policies and things like that. I also always pay with PP.
