Mix matched bridesmaids with mix matched groomsman ties?

My fiance and I are having a disagreement on this. I was thinking the groomsman could wear mix-matched ties that coordinate with my bridesmaids dresses. However, he thinks it will look "stupid" and "weird". He thinks the guys should all wear the same colored ties.

This is what they will be wearing.

And this is what the dresses and ties would look like.

Opinions? Thoughts? We need to settle this thing, lol.

I agree with you fiance, this is a wedding not a homecoming dance where the guys match their ties to their dates' dresses.  I do think that a variety of ties in the same color but different patterns would look awesome.  I'd try to find some that bring in the range of colors of the dresses.

In my friends wedding, I was a bridesmaid, and though we wore black dresses, our jewelry was all different colored and matched the groomsmen's ties and vests... I think it looked nice.  Our bouquets and their boutonnieres were multicolored and it looked good.

I think your fiance should make the decision about what his groomsmen are wearing.  If it is matching ties, so be it.  They are his groomsmen.

If you want your bridesmaids to wear mis-matched colors, go for it.
