Hi All!
The search is on for the much talked about something blue! I did a search on the web but the only thing that came up was your usual blue under garments, shoes, and that book called Something Blue (though I think I might buy that !). I was hoping you girls would have some creative suggestions on things your going to use/wear or have seen used/worn for that something blue! Thanks! xoxo
Re: Something Blue
It can be anything. You can sew a blue label into one of your undergarments or dress, put blue rhinestones in your new initials on the bottoms of your shoes, carry a blue purse, have a blue crinoline. The possibilities are endless. And remember, this is just a tradition, nothing that you are required to follow. It is more of a superstition and I am not a superstitious person, so I didn't stress too much over them, they just sort of happened.
We're also seeing a lot of brides in blue shoes lately. And keep in mind, your blue doesn't necessarily need to be on your attire--you could always use blue on your bouquet wrap or in the bouquet itself.

I have a bookmark I thought about inserting in with the flowers. It looks similar to this: http://www.amazon.com/Glass-Beaded-Metal-Hook-Bookmark/dp/B002C0T0D4/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=office-products&qid=1282737579&sr=8-3
If you want to do attire but think garter or shoes are cliche, what about blue stockings?

something blue, the book, is actually qutie a good read.
i really like the author, emily giffin, and all of her books.
That would be old, borrowed, and blue all in one.

i might also wear blue underwear, if i can find a cute pair in a light blue color.
