Wedding hairpeice

Since I am not wearing a veil for my wedding I really would like to have my florist make a hairpeice with the flowers shes using for the rest of the wedding party. My problem is... What is best, a comb or barette? My hair is fine and has zero texture. I am wondering what will stay in best. Any suggestions?

Re: Wedding hairpeice

  • I would ask the hairstylist as she probably knows your hair the best
  • I would recommend talking to your hair stylist and asking what she thinks would be best. I have really thick hair and I've always noticed that combs work better for me because barettes grab too much hair and don't stay up. However, in your case the opposite might work. But it really all depends on the kind of hairstyle you will have for your wedding and what your hairstylist thinks is best.

  • I have really thick hair. I would go for a comb that you can reinforce with bobby pins undeath your hair.

  • Talk with your hairstylist about what would work best with your hair.

I would also talk with your florist to see what flowers would hold up best and what type of hair clip, comb, barrett, bobby pin, etc they could use to attach flowers to.  Some flowers hold up better then others when out of water all day so make sure your florist uses a flower that won't be a wilting mess after 5 minutes.
