Tidebuy.com?

Tidebuy.com is having a great sale on dresses that are already cheap, which makes me worry about the quality of the dresses. Has anyone had experience with this site? Is it a scam site? Any input appreciated -- if it's well-reputed, I don't want to miss this sale.

Re: Tidebuy.com?

  • It is always a good idea to check the site you are considering buying gowns from out at consumer site such as http://www.complaintsboard.com or http://www.pissedconsumer.com
  • I ordered my second dress from discountdress.com it came in... it isn't 100% identical to the dress I tried on in the store, instead of beading I got embroidery/sequins/beads also where the rushing on the bodice there is one fold that is uneven. now since I am having it altered I am getting the fold fixed an embroidery taken off an beading done as similar to the original dress as possible. But in it's current state it's not unwearable. lol but you may also want to consider making a dress from scratch. bc my seamstress has to almost take it completely apart. But I had a decent experience with this site. The woman (prob an automation) is very nice too mrs shirly. Lol an if you don't see the dress you want on the site you can send a pic an they can price it an make it. Also on most weddjng dresses you get free shipping but i paid a little more an rushed mine I hope this helped any curious brides!
  • tidybuy is horrible, i have seen numberous negative comments at http://www.complaintsboard.com
  • I'm thinking of wearing this dress for a wedding i'm going to this weekend, with (hopefully) some nude heels and silver jewellery. But i'm worried it's maybe a bit old for me and my mum's just said the same thing! I'm 21, 5'4 and a size 8 (so you can get an idea of how it'd look) what do you think, too old or ok?
