Re: if bridemaids dresses are chocolate what color shoes?

  • With chocolate I would go with a gold or champagne color.

  • My girls are wearing a chocolate dress, I let them pick their own shoes. Some were tan, some gold. My MOH got these really sexy pumps that had an orange, cream, and chocolate design on them.

  • If you want them all in the same color, I'd do all gold shoes.  But if not let them choose.  the shoes PP mentioned sound pretty awesome, and I like the effect when all the bridesmaids look a little different.

  • My girls are wearing gold shoes, but I let them pick their own.  When we were all talking, they decided to all look for a shoe that was either gold, champagne, bronze or chocolate brown.
  • I'd go w/ champagne or tan

  • Like pp said, you could let them choose different shoes.  My BMs are wearing floor length black gowns and they have to buy funky shoes to go with.  So far the shoes are leopard, red, purple, hot pink, and zebra.  If you are going for more formal you could do a gold or bronze colored shoe.

  • Clearly, this all depends on the style of wedding you're having, but if it fits with the theme - go wild! I've been to a beautiful wedding where the shoes with chocolate dresses were in pale blue. If you match the shoes to the floral color (pink, red, green, etc) it would be lovely. Patterns are fun too!

Remember, brown is a neutral. You can go with almost any color and it will look good. Brights, pastels, metallics - they all work.
