Shoes for Plum Bridesmaid Dresses! HELP!

Ok, my bridal party is wearing Plum Y-neck dresses that are knee length and I'm struggling to come up with a shoe color for them!  I was originally thinking silver, but we ended up choosing brown tuxes for the men, since our wedding is in late October, so I'm concerned how silver will look!  I want all of the bridesmaids to have the same color shoe, but don't care what style.  Help!  Any suggestions for what colors would work well with Plum AND Brown?

I think silver would look lovely with both plum and brown.  My other suggestion for plum dresses would be nude/neutral, and I think silver would go better with brown than that.

Gold or nude would be just fine. Are they long dresses? If that's the case, then don't worry too much about the color matching brown becaue no one will even notice. If they're short dresses, gold, nude, or silver are pretty solid ways to go. I like nude and gold on me with short dresses because they make my legs look longer.

I'm MOH for my friend and we're wearing short plum dresses.  She's having us wear black shoes, but I think the guys are in black tuxes.

Like the PP, I would probably go with gold rather than silver if the guys are in brown.  Silver and plum is great but I think with brown thrown in the mix that gold or copper is probably better.  You could also see about getting dark brown shoes.
