Shoes/casual and matching w groom/ personalized

I know weird and long subject. But we were looking into doing the personalized converse. We want to get something he may actually wear again though... I would wear mine every day if I could . We did look at Nike id but seems way casual. Thoughts or ideas ?? He is wearing a grey suit. Our colors are purple and Grey. And just for an idea of ambience we are getting married on a cruise ship

I am not a fan of the converse idea.  It has been WAY overdone and feels very much like "prom" to me.   If you want to compliment each other for shoes... maybe get a pair of grey loafers for him and a grey sparkly pair of flats for you.

Yeah, I don't get wearing really nice clothes and then wearing converse. It feels inappropriate.

Well thanks for your opinions but we are already decided that we are doing this. That's why I was asking for other ideas ..

well, you asked for thoughts and ideas...  it seems like the general consensus of thoughts and ideas, is that it's a bad idea.   But, knock yourself out.

Well wasn't aware that asking for other personalized CASUAL shoe ideas would have someone be rude. Sorry that it's not your taste, but it's ours

We're doing customized converse too, but we both live in ours all the time so it works. You can customize vans too, if that might appeal to your fiance?

also, i'm laughing out loud at all the people to tell you that it's inappropriate. i think it's great that you want to show a little style on your wedding day - who wants to be stuck in uncomfortable shoes all day/night? not this girl! 

to each their own, i guess! go for something FUN!
