Matching shoes for this dress

Hello,

I'm wearing this dress in the marine blue color...

I have to find shoes in the same color. I'm having a hard time finding the right shoe/color. The bride doesn't want us to break the bank so $50 or less, and she would like a wedge or dress sandal. The dyables I saw don't quite match, and then when I do find a shoe, they don't have my size. I tried payless and David's Bridal, to no avail. Are there sites or stores you'd recommend?

  • Have you tried Toms wedges?  I know they go over that $50 mark a little bit but they come in tons of colors and are SOOOOO comfortable.  Definately something you'd wear after the wedding too.

  • I personally love zappos.com - you can seach based on price, size, color, heel height, etc.

Have you tried Dessy Group too?  They have a ton of colors.  www.dessy.com

  • So the bride is requiring you to have a certain shoe for her wedding but isn't paying for it herself...tisk tisk, bad bride.

I honestly would rather wear a silver or nude shoe with that dress then something so matchy-matchy but to each bride their own.

Sorry I am not much help but the PP gave some great places to look.

Seriously! I was in a wedding where the bride did this. $80 for yellow satin shoes I'm never wearing again. Ugh. Anyways! Why not try the bridal shop you got the BM dress from? They usually offer a dying service and it will match exactly since you ordered the dress from there. They probably have to be sent out to be dyed, but still it should work. Otherwise you can probably order your own shoes and have them dyed either by the bridal shop or a shoe repair place. I have to have my heels fixed all the time and the shoe repair place I go to dyes shoes. I would check out local shoe repair places in your area.

Also, check out this site: <a href="http://www.dyeableshoestore.com/touch-ups-bridal-wedding.asp" rel="nofollow">http://www.dyeableshoestore.com/touch-ups-bridal-wedding.asp</a>

  • Thanks! I actually have a perfect silver dressy sandal for this dress. If I can't find anything, I might have to beg to wear them haha!
  • Did you ever find Marine Blue shoes that matched?  I am a bride and my girls are wearing that color and I want to find matching shoes so I can wear them!
