I am toying with the idea of having my bms wear different colored dresses. If I have 4 bms, then I would want 4 different colored dresses. But I may end up with 6 bms (I don't want to, but we'll see), in which case I would have 3 different colors and 2 of each.
It's a fairly casual wedding, summertime, at my grandparent's lake house.
I want to do blue, orange, yellow, and green. I wanted to include pink, but blue and pink reminds me of baby stuff, so I wanted to avoid that. I was also thinking about doing orange, yellow, green, and pink, but blue is my very favorite color, and i wouldn't want to leave it out... but I could, if I thought everything else looked good.
I plan on getting them from David's Bridal, so I can get the same dress in the different colors. I am having a hard time finding shades that mesh well together from their selection. Any suggestions?
I also thought about doing green/teal/blue.. multicolored blues... or ditching the different color idea and sticking with straight blue (pool).
Thoughts? Thanks!

just stick with the same material and length and I think you would be fine or maybe you could do different shades of one color like blue

I would suggest getting color pallettes from David's (I think they cost a few dollars) and play around with your color choices. My MOH did this with different designers and this is how we found which designer we would order from. GL!
