Fancy Short Dresses- Where are they all?

I want the style of a ball gown but a tea to short length. All of the shorter dresses out there are so plain. I want something with 3-d flowers, appliques and rosettes. Anyone know of anthing like that?

Andrea's Bridal in Portland has them!  They have some cute ones now and have a line coming in soon called; Little White Dress by Alfred Angelo.

I actually just purchased a short one (tea-length on me since I'm so short) from Priscilla of Boston. They have a beautiful selection of short bridal gowns. 

The link is below. I believe quite a few local boutiques carry the line. I found mine at the Bride Room in Nashville, TN.

With rosettes you might also have luck with bridesmaid dresses.  I think Jim Hjelm or Watters maybe have BM dresses with rosettes.

I was looking for one as well - I looked a LOT.... I would buy a long dress and get it chopped. There are a few options out there - but not enough!!

Stephanie James couture gowns are beautiful.  They are fairly expensive though.  The one I wanted was $3000, so I am getting something similar made for me.  I am actually more excited for the dress I'm having made because it will have everything I want. 

I know it is a risk, but having a dress made can really work.

I bought one that is fairly plain off of etsy.com You would probably be able to find more embelished ones.

Some bridesmaid dresses are actually decorated like that as well and they typically come in more length options.

I did that because I wanted a shorter dress and I realized I hated the thought of paying so much for a dress and then just chopping half of it off. 

My dress is a bridesmaid dress from Jordan that I just ordered in white. I'm super happy with it.

My dress is the Justin Alexander that was mentioned above... pic is in signature.  He also has a few others, I think, but they were plainer.

David's Bridal had a few that I tried on, and I looked for others in the shops but didn't see many.  Good luck!
