bustle?

i'm not really understand the whole bustle thing...is it like an accessory you buy in addition to your dress, or does your alterations person add it on....is it removable...?

i feel silly, because i know exactly what a bustle does, but i can't really envision the logistics in my head!

Its something your alerations person can add on.. like a hook and a loop basically just to keep the train up off the ground after the ceremony.

Mine was an eight point bustle.  It had eight pairs of ties, all color coded so they matched up.  It was attached to the lining and the slip of my dress.
