Bridal Accessories Advice

The only two things I can really work on right now are addressing my invitations and picking my accessories. I'm just stuck and don't even know where to start with accessories. There are so many options... Do I do a veil? Or a cool headpiece? Earrings? Necklaces? I love over the top accessories, but if I have a cool headpiece, then I should probably chill out on the earrings. And I'm not sure my dress even needs a necklace!

Here is my dress, but I ordered it in white...

Any thoughts on what would go nicely with it? Or advice on pulling everything together?

  • I'm not wearing a veil, but would be pretty that dress. Depending on your theme you could go with a flower in your hair or feathers. If you have your hair up drop earings with a large crystal would be pretty with a matching necklace. I think a necklace with that dress would be good even similar to the one the girl is wearing.

  • That's a very pretty dress, with all that beading I'd just do earrings for jewlery. Have you asked family? My mother feels very strongly that she wants photos of me with a veil, so Im going to do a veil for the ceremony and switch to a fun hairpiece for the reception.

  • A lot of veils can be put on any comb....there are some great hand made hair combs on Etsy.com.  I got mine from a seller there and then put an inexpensive veil on it.  I brought everything to my trail apointment to be sure everything worked and it was great.  The veil was from JoAnne's but the comb will likely be passed down or used for another occasion.

This is what I ended up getting.

It was listed on etsy and then sold, so I emailed the seller and she made one for me and sold it to me on etsy.
