Wedding Date Dress Label

I've seen some nice wedding dress labels for sale online, they create the label with your names and the date and it gets sewn into the dress.  Sometimes they are made with blue thread for your "something blue"
Anyway, I'm just wondering - where am I supposed to put it in the dress?  In the back by the zipper, like where the designer's label is?  I've seen some sewn into the hem, but if I did that, do I do it upside down, so when I flip the hem up it's right side up, or have it sewn in right side up?  I'm so confused!

I put it in the back by the zipper near the waistband, like the designer's label.

I want to do this and I plan on doing it on the hem upside down so that I can get a picture of the date (which will be my something blue) with my shoes.
