Necklace or not???

Hello!  So I got the Maggie Sotterro dress "Karena Royale" in Ivory.  I absolutely love this dress and knew the moment I tried it on that it is the dress for me!  But my dilemma is whether or not I should have a necklace.  I make jewelry so I (since I started doing that) I wanted to make my own necklace.  But my dress is a lot of lace with scallop details on the bodice.  Is it too much to wear a necklace with this style dress?

I agree with your statement, there is a lot going on with the sash and lace, so I would keep it simple. Earrings and a bracelet.

I voted for the earrings and bracelet option, but I do think you could wear a necklace if you really wanted to.  Keep it simple, though.  A strand of pearls or a simple pendant.

I voted a sparkly necklace, bracelets and lace just don't mix! Snags galore! If you do decide to go with an necklace just make sure to keep earrings minimal, simple studs should do the trick.

I'd wear a simple necklace - chain & small pendant or something.  I wore a strapless top for my e-pics, and everytime I look at them my eyes are always drawn to how bare my neck looks without anything.

My dress is very similar - the Maggie Sottero Embrace.  I think I am going to do decent size earings and no necklace, but I have been struggling with no necklace idea.  I just don't think a necklace would look right with it.

We sell this dress at the bridal salon I work at and generally when we "jack" the bride up we put her in a simple pendant with this one, or a classic strand a pearls. You could go either with just something very simple (like I said, pendant or simply pearls) or with just the bracelet and earrings.

I think you could definatly wear a necklace with it.

That is a gorgeous dress! I would do a simple set of pearls or even a simple necklace with a drop down pearl. Do simple earring and a fun bracelet would be my vote!
