Online Dress Vendors?!

Hi Ladies,
How legitimate are online wedding dress sites that offer designer gowns for fractions of the price??  I am specifically speaking of www.MoonBaSaBridal.com.  Has anyone purchased, or know of someone else who has purchased, from this site?!

I made the mistake of falling in love with a dress I cannot afford, but this site is offering it for a fraction of the cost... I'm so afraid to order it and be conned.  Any and all info and/or advice is much appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

There are two types of dealers: one sells authentic gowns at wholesale prices by cutting out the middle man. These sites are safe, and examples of these are Netbride, Pearl's Place, RK Bridal, and Jay's Bridal.

The second type of dealer sells knockoff dresses. While some ladies are happy with knockoff gowns, there's absolutely no way to know that the dress you're going to receive even resembles the photo you see on the website. You can, however, be sure that the materials of construction will not be the same. You cannot even purchase the materials needed to make a Jim Hjelm dress for what they're charging for the finished dress. The site you're looking at sells knockoffs. If you're okay with spending the money and risking that what you recieve may be totally unwearable, leaving you in need of a new dress, fine. If not, I would suggest looking for a preowned (many have not even been worn!) or sample gown.

Sites for used and sample gowns are preownedweddingdresses.com, bravobride.com, thegreenhangershop.com, and bridepower.com.

I agree with the PP that Pearl's Place and Netbride are the places to check first.
