STAINS on my wedding dress

So my wedding is this Saturday. I had taken my dress to the cleaner to be steamed, and I picked it up this past Friday. When I got it home and unwrapped it, it had two stains like water marks right in front!!! It also had some sort of smudge mark under the arm.

I didn't trust the dress with those cleaners again, so I took it to a different cleaner to see if they could get the marks out. The lady who does wedding dresses wasn't in when I dropped my dress off. I was told that she would be in on Monday morning, so now I'm anxiously awaiting a call from her to tell me what she thinks.

I'm just sick over this, and my mom told me that if the marks are hard water stains that I shouldn't count on them coming out. I'm not too worried about the reception because the lights will be low enough that I think most people won't notice. But I am worried about the ceremony. And even if no one notices, I'LL know they're there. UGH.

Well I guess I just needed to rant. Thanks.

oh no!  My wedding is this Saturday, and I know I'd be very upset if this happened.
I hope the second cleaner can do something about it.
If not, does the design of your dress allow for something to be added (like an extra pick-up, a sash or a pretty pin) to cover the spot? Is the mark on the bodice or the skirt?  Maybe your bouquet will cover it up as you walk down the aisle?

Good luck!  Let us know how it turns out.

I didn't try the dress on with the marks, but from looking at it I think they're right in the lap area. Probably just a little too low to hold my bouquet over, and I don't think I should add a pin right over my crotch, lol!

I just talked to the lady who has my dress, and she seemed somewhat confident that she could get the marks out. She's going to work on it today, so I should know something by this afternoon.

Well, at least she's hopeful that there's a chance!

As far as the bouquet goes - I've heard a lot of brides say that it's best to hold the bouquet lower than you think you'd need to.  I guess it looks funny in pics if you're clutching it at boob-level!  It might work out - and I know that you'll know the mark is there, but I'm sure no one else will notice - they'll be looking at you (the expressions on your face, your hair, etc).

    What designer/style is your dress?

It's Bill Levkoff. It's actually a bridesmaid dress so I saved a lot of money that way. Here's a pic.

I think you could easily disquise the marks int he fold of that dress.
