Bridesmaid Dresses

How far in advance would you say is a good time to order the bridesmaid dresses. I'm getting married in April 2011 and was thinking of getting their dresses this August, is that too far in advance?

Probably no earlier than October.  People's sizes change and styles change.  Ask the bridal shop how long it takes for dresses to come in.  Mine took about 3-4 months.

Most manufacturers will say 12 weeks for delivery.

We are doing our order July 11th for a December 11th wedding

I think most of the companies take about 4 months to get.
