I'm down to the last days before my wedding, and I keep worrying irrationally that I won't feel very "bridal" sans-veil during the ceremony. (There was an heirloom veil that won't work with my dress; I guess I'd always expected to be bullied into that one and never made a backup plan.)
Re: Veil-less knotties, anyone want to share a ceremony picture?
I'm an older bride do I really didn't feel it appropriate but I've never been a veil girl, even for my first wedding.
I had a feather fasinator designed by an etsy seller.

<div>Eep, I'm sorry you had a migraine. I have a smaller hair clip (and I'm planning to stand so that it will be visible during the ceremony), so the last picture really helps me feel better, since obviously you look fantastic!</div>
[QUOTE]I'm second-guessing my decision to go veil-less too! Was watching "Randy to the Rescue" last night and he told a bride, "don't forget without a veil you're just a girl in a white dress." :/

<div>If I <em>liked </em>any particular veil, I think I would have picked one by now. I really hate the picture I have of myself in a fingertip-length veil, which is conceptually what I would most want! I was just looking at a $15 birdcage veil at Michaels trying to figure out if I should buy the veil just to see if it would work, but I love love love my hair clip and I'm not sure I want to distract from it!</div><div>
</div><div>ETA: Also, David Tutera basically told me that my wedding will be tacky because my bridesmaids are not wearing the same shoe. Silly wedding industry people! David, I'm sure, would also take exception to my table numbers and linens. ;)</div>

I've met David, he's snotty, so I would ignore that.
As far as Randy I love him, but in the next episode one lady told him it remined her of mosquito netting so she wasnt wearing one, he didnt say anything to her.
There are plenty of brides that dont wear veils, I think it's aa personal decision.
And thanks for the compliment.
My fiance actually told me he thinks veils look old-fashioned and he doesn't want me to wear one! Part of me wants to wear one anyway, but part of me is glad he said that, because by not buying a veil, that's one less thing for me to spend money on, LOL!
You will still be beautiful on your wedding day!
