Hello fellow knotties! I hear that the best place to buy a beautiful and affordable veil is online...but where??
I am looking for chapel (maybe cathedral) length, ivory in color, but I want it to be extremely see through and soft, not hard and "poofy" I dont want to look like a snow beast.
Any suggestions??
Re: In need of a veil...I need advice!!
Though if you know a good seamstress I recommend having it made. That way you can choose the fabric and style you want, and it will be much cheaper than any store or site.
I just did that (I live in Mexico though) and my veil will cost about 70% less that in the stores.

A friend of mine did the same thing. I don't remember the price, but it was much less than the salons were charging.
If the tulle you're finding at a fabric store is rough, it's probably not a fine enough gauge. The tulle usually used in veils is often called "bridal illusion", and is much softer than the crinoline you'd find under your bridal gown. If you want to feel a sample of bridal illusion, I know that Occansey Designs sends out swatch cards with all of the materials they use.

Oh and I googled and found a 10% off coupon code which was nice!

I was hoping to wear the veil below the bun, but it that too low? What do you think?
