Groom attire when bridesmaid dresses are navy blue

My wedding colors are navy blue and hot pink. Do you think it's necessary for the groom to wear navy blue? Under normal circumstances I would never wear navy blue and black together so I don't know if they can wear a black tux with pink tie or if it needs to be navy blue.

Navy blue and black would be fine together.  Although a gray shade would also look good!

Our GM are wearing Black tuxes with Navy vests

I am doing navy bridesmaids dresses with the GM in grey suits with navy vests and ties and the groom with a ivory vest and tie.

My BMs will be in navy, my FI will be in his mess dress (Air Force formal wear) which is its own shade of navy, and the GMs will be in either black tuxes or charcoal suits. I think it will look fine.

Navy and black look great together when done right. Black tuxes will look terrific with navy dresses especially if the guys go with the very traditional black tux, white shirt, black bow tie look.

personally, navy and black makes me cringe but i think it would look fine.  i do like the idea of grey suits with the navy.
