dyable shoes

I am the only person in the bridal party that has shoes for the wedding so far, so when we went for our dress fittings yesterday each of us wore my shoes.  The problem is that it was so hot (and un-air conditioned!), that one of the other maids left a small dime-sized sweat-mark along top of the shoe, just above the arch.

They're dyed a very light taupe color, and I don't think it will be noticable (the gowns are floor-length thankfully), but I was wondering if there was a way to make the spot less noticible, especially since there is a darker ring around the outside of the spot where the dye ran to.

Thanks for any advice in advance!

Re: dyable shoes

  • Honestly I wouldn't worry about it- especially with floor length dresses.  I think anything you try to do about it might make it worse.

  • Agreed with PP.  Leave it alone, the spots will not be noticeable if the dresses are long.  Anything that you try to do just might make it worse.  What a bummer!
  • Thanks guys!  I kind of figured as much, I'm just a nut so I hoping there was some crazy super-secret remedy that all of my research had failed to turn up!
