I am looking for something similar to Ivanka Trump's dress...but can't find anything! I'm wondering if anyone has found anything similar (I'd maybe even consider long sheer sleeves) or has had their sweetheard or strapless gown altered with a sheer/lace top?

I LOVE this dress and want to do something beyond the basic strapless. Any help?

She wore a customized Vera Wang gown.  How about you find a ball gown similar to hers, and then just have it altered by adding in a lace top part?  It wouldn't hurt to at least ask around, see how much it would be.  I haven't seen anything quite like this one either, but to be honest I haven't been looking at sleeved gowns.  Good luck!

I haven't found such a similar dress. It indeed is special. If you love it so much, you can find online like Ebay, trustedeal and others. There are various styles of wedding dress. Good luck.

Feb 2010 issue of BRIDES have a celeb trends about "Ivanka's look for less" and for the dress, they found a dress from Enzoani. the price listed was about $2833.

Thanks guys! I am thinking I might just go buy a basic strapless/sweetheart that I like and have someone sew some kindd of sheer top on.  I also just saw that on Vera Wang's Fall2010 line she has something similar. Maybe I'll be seeing more because Vera said she is " sick of designing strapless" dresses. Keep your eyes open though!

Ant firsthand experience from anyone whose had a dress altered like that?  I want it to look feminine and almost vintage but NOT mormon. I live in Utah and girls take dresses and have jackets sewn on them all the time and it looks strange. I'm not really doing this for modesty- just because I like it. Let me know if you've done it and how you went about it.
