Had the first fitting appointment yesterday at Modern Bride. Dress looks beautiful. Veil is still not in but is scheduled to be in at the end of this month.
I was shocked to see how much the alterations are going to cost. Due to some recent weight loss, the dress is about one size too big, (ordered it in November). It has to be taken in a little bit. It also has to be hemmed, (multiple layers), and it will have a 3-point french (under) bustle.
Cost of alterations = $260....ouch! (I had budgeted for $200).
