Hello! Maybe this is a weird question since I can't find anyone else asking this online, but I'm starting to stress out about walking in my dress. We're doing a beach wedding and I will be barefoot so I'm wondering what it's like to walk in the sand with a heavy long dress. (I'm wearing the Rhianna Royale dress by Maggie Sottero...I bought it for the first venue we picked, but that fell through and I LOVE the dress so I decided to keep it even though it's not really "beachy".) Do I need to have them take it up an extra inch or more so I don't trip in the sand? Or will it be fine with the length that's fine barefoot on carpet? Any advice from fellow beach wedding brides?

[QUOTE]This is why I don't understand beach weddings. Find a new venue. That dress is gorgeous, but not for a beach wedding.

...because beach weddings are FREAKING AWESOME! :D I can't wait! It's in 2 months and I don't see why I would have to give up my dream beach wedding for the dress?? I just want to know if I should have it shortened a little more.
