Hi Ladies - I'm starting the do research on bridal stores and found a number of gowns I like at Alfred Angelo. I'm planning on visting their store in Cherry Hill NJ. I just wanted to get some feedback on the dresses and how your experience was.

AA reviews are usually mixed and can vary greatly from store to store.  I bought my dress at AA, and my experience was painless.  My BMs dresses are from there as well, and some had good experiences while others had bad ones.  I would XP with your local board--they can give you advice and reviews on your specific store.

I didn't buy my dress from AA but my bridesmaids dresses are from AA. We got them from an actual bridal salon that carried AA, I've heard horror stories about the AA store in my area. I've heard they are rude and consistently order the wrong size dresses. But, that's second hand info. I can't speak for myself because I didn't actually go there.

I agree with PP about checking your local board. I went to one here a couple of months ago, and had a not so great experience for my dress, but picked out bridesmaid dresses. My issue was that the consultant I had wasn't listening to me at all. I picked out certain dresses and it turns out they looked different on me then in the ads (which was expected) so i asked for something different and she just kept bringing me the same style. So I was disappointed.  Another thing that bugged me (I'm not sure if this is true of all AA stores) but there was no mirror in the fitting room, so I saw my family's reaction before I was able to have my own and that kind of ruined it for me.

I went to AA and tried on dresses. I had a great experience. Granted, it probably helped that I went at noon on a Friday, was the only person in the store, and my consultant was a girl I knew from high school.

I bought my dress from AA and so far the service has been great. They're always very helpful. I'm really glad I got my dress there.
