Pearl's Place

Hello there, I am looking for a dress for a VERY low price (under 200) Originally, I was just going to get a knock-off dress but it didn't feel like such a great idea. So, I was going to go to Pearl's Place because I live about an hour and a half away from one but I don't want to seem like I'm wasting someone's time because of the low budget I have for my dress. So, anyone that shopped at Pearl's place, do they have anything in this price range or should I look elsewhere? Thank you!

While I know they discount, I don't think you'll find much in your price range. Even off the rack stuff is still name brand and more expensive. I suggest a used dress. Check out Craiglist, Preownedweddingdresses.com, or RecycledBride.com. Or David's Bridals sales. They have some great dresses on sale.

Have you considered looking at bridemaid's dresses? There are several from Wtoo that could pass as bridal gowns and almost all are available in white or ivory. That might give you some more options.

I've been to Pearl's Place and I think they've got a lot in the 400-800 dollar range, but I don't recall there being a whole lot in the 200 dollar range. Definitely call the store and check though! And they also have a HUGE collection of beautiful BM dresses in that price range that you could try on and then order in white or ivory.

Have you looked into J Crew, White House Black Market, or the Limited wedding collections?  They have some gorgeous wedding dresses in that price range.  Also, have you considered going the custom route?  I had my dress made and it was only about 270 dollars for the fabric and the seamstress's labor (granted I wore a seersucker dress and cotton is an inexpensive fabric).

    Good luck!

I know this might take a lot of time, but you may want to try going into local bridal boutiques and asking if they have any discontinued or shop worn dresses that you could get for under $200. Most of the time they are very willing to try to accomodate you if they have anything in that price range.

Try David's as well. Here are some cute ones on their online sites that are under $200

If you go on the davids website and click the "Sale" tab you can sort them by price lowest-highest. This might be your best bet.
