So my fiance and I were possibly thinking of having him wear a black tux, with a BLACK shirt, and then an ivory vest and tie. And having the groomsmen wear white shirts with black vest and tie. I've seen one person do this and it looked awesome, does anyone else have pictures or thoughts on this?
Re: Black shirt with black tux?
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.
Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
sounds super cool to me, the pp's picture sold me, and if my fiance wasn't already set on something else I'd be pushing it!
I do like it alot. I'd suggest no to the white shirts though, if your dress is ivory. See if the place has an ivory shirt, or a slightly off white shirt. that way their stark white shirts dont' clash with your ivory dress.
Personally, I really don't like the black shirt with tux look. It takes away from the formality of the tux, imo. That said, I think your FI should choose his tux. If he chooses the black, I would probably do the same with the GMs but maybe with a different tie color or something.
