How to wear a tiara with a mantilla veil?

So I bought a tiara a few years ago to wear to a banquet with my future hubby and I loved it so much that I decided to let all my friends wear it for special occasions So I could build memories with it and then wear it for the wedding. I ended up getting a mantilla style cathedral length veil. I'm not sure how to wear the two together.. Any suggestions?

I'd wouldn't. The thing that makes mantilla veils so pretty is that they have detail and where they sit on your head. A tiara would mess that up, in my opinion. I'd wear the veil for the ceremony and then switch it out for the tiara for the reception.

Sorry but I don't think they will work together. Mantilla veils are ment to be worn without a headpiece. You could put the tiara on during the reception after you remove the veil.

You don't need to wear the mantilla the traditional way.

In fact, spanish brides usually wear them like normal veils (tucked under or above the hair) with tiaras or other accesories and they look beautiful.

Didn't Kate Middleton have a mantilla-ish cut veil?  She for sure wore a tiara too!

Yes, Kate rocked a tiara with a mantilla veil.  It totally can be done.  Look at the wedding pictures.
