HELP!!!!!!!

I need help in choosing where to order my dress. Ebay has it for $158.00 which includes shipping and I have checked with Floras and they said that they can make it for $220.00. Should I chance it and try to order from Ebay which is a shop in China?

Here is the link to the ebay site the seller has a 99.5%

Re: HELP!!!!!!!

  • I have heard good and bad things about ordering from China. Personally, I would order it from Ebay. I would think that if you had any problems you have a better chance of getting them resolved. Btw - that looks like a dress I saw at DB when I was dress shopping, probably discontinued or something.
  • We can't decide for you, but I would advise you to order the cheaper dress only if you are prepared to lose the $158 and have to buy a new dress for whatever reason.

I would definately search out other dresses.  What if its not easily altered or as described?  I would hope that wouldn't happen but it does.  I agree with ringpop...only if you are prepared for the possibility that you might have to be out the money and find a new dress.  Some peeps on ebay are great with returns but some aren't.
I bought my shoes on there and the pic and description were true white and i got ivory shoes.  :(  I had to find new ones.  The seller was great about returning them but even still it took alot of time to ship back and get things settled.

Good advice. The positive feedback from a lot of sources is encouraging, but do keep in mind that feedback can be faked as well, either by the seller posing as a buyer and "paying" himself for a dress that never existed, or by requiring buyers to post positive feedback in order to get a refund for bad work. It sounds like a good deal, but you need to accept the risk involved.
