Buying Your Wedding Dress Online

So recently I have found a few websites that have dresses I absolutely love at much better prices. Since me and my fiance are paying for everything on our own these dresses really appeal to my "affordability" point of view. Plus some were just too gorgeous not to refuse a second thought at. I just worry if some are legit or not. I know Milanoo (Milanoo.com) is a company that makes copies of dresses... not good. So that site was scratched off my list. I'm just having trouble finding legit sights I know I can trust, and that will send me a good quality dress. Has anyone ordered their dress online before? And if you have what site did you use, and what was your experience?

If its a knockoff site, like Milanoo, then you will likely be very dissapointed.  MoriLee has a good list of who is selling knockoffs on their website.

Basically, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.   You might want to consider buying a preowned dress.  Many dresses on the used sites have never been worn or altered.  They are being sold by brides who were indecisive (I'm one of them).  I sold a gown that was originally priced around $900.00 for $325.00.  Never worn or altered.  You can get good deals if you know what you are looking for.   But, steer clear of the knockoff sites.

I got my dress on bigdaydress.com, I think it worth that money, and my friend bough it from them also, she thinks it is even better than the original, I think it worth a try.

Sophy... evern one of your posts somehow plugs bigdaydress and you always have a different dress picture in them.

OP, I wouldn't trust Sophy's recommendation of her site.  the way she posts, with mostly broken english and always about the same knockoff site is really suspect.

My friend was in the same boat.  She was on a budget, but even worse: the only dress she wanted and loved was on a website known to be from China.

She agonized over it, shopped around and around and around, but couldn't find anything close to the dress she loved.  I felt so bad for her.

In the end, she rolled the dice and took the gamble.  Fortunately for her, it turned out alright and she got her dress exactly as described.  She planned around the idea that it could have been a disaster though.  I think as long as you do that, and have a backup plan, it may be worth it, depending on your circumstances.

Thank you so much for those websites! I looked last night before I went to bed and already found a few I absolutely adore, and sent emails to the sellers :D<div>

Great!! You may want to find somewhere local to try it on before you buy a used gown. You never know what the style will look like until you've tried it on. Also. Bridal sizing is very different than your street clothes. If you wear a 10 in street clothes, you may be in a 12 or 14 wedding gown.

Here’s my dress http://www.inweddingdress.com/style-bc387.html   I ordered my dress from them and paid for a super rush and had it within 2 weeks and it totally cost me $265+$70 dollars. If you order online, the dresses usually come in quickly BUT you might have a problem getting it altered in time anyway, my dress has not been altered yet and needs to be taken in in the bust area... it will fit tons better once that is done ;)
