Looking for Advice on shoes

Hey All,

So the time has come to get some shoes.  I don't want to spend a fortune on them since there is the possibility I will never wear them again (and I am not made of money.)  I want them to be comfortable but also look nice.  It is going to be a long day and the reception is taking place in a brick courtyard so spikey heels are out.  Someone told me jsut to get some cheap shoes and Payless but I am afriad they won't be comfortable from 2pm-11pm.  Any reccommendations?

Thanks

What about wedge heels? There are a lot of great ones out there these days, and I wear them all the time since my town has a lot of brick sidewalks.

If you're set on wearing white shoes (or want control over the exact shade of color), you should check out coloriffics, which makes some really cute wedges. If you've got a color in mind and need some inspiration, try zappos.com.

You could get dyables from David's Bridal or Zappos.com, dye them to match your girls dresses (my plan), OR dye them after everything is over- to wear again. DB seems to have pretty reasonably prices shoes of all heights and widths.

This is a question that would be best answered by you going to several stores and trying on different brands. You could also buy some pairs and wear them around your house. If they haven't been worn outside, you can always return them as long as the store policy allows it.

And usually, you get what you pay for. So the cheaper the shoes, usually the less comfortable, but not always.
