So, I went to the Lovely Bride in LA a few weeks ago and found a Sarah Seven dress there that I REALLY liked. (See below.) However, the sales lady there told me I'd have to buy it out of stock because they didn't trust the designer to get custom pieces made in a timely fashion, because she was a "one-woman show." I was like, huh... So I dig some digging on the internet and I was HORRIFIED by the reviews from other women. While the dress fit me pretty well and would only have to be taken in a bit, I felt like maybe I shouldn't support such poor business practices. But I adored the fit of the bodice. Totally hugged my tiny girls...
And the airy skirt for a casual June wedding.
On the other hand, the new collection by Ivy & Aster is gorgeous. And I'm going to attend a trunk show in a few weeks. Does anyone have any experience with that designer? How does it fit? How does it move?
