Ok...to refresh you're memories, here is my dress Maggie Sottero Kendra

My FI and I are going to Vegas so I want to glam it up and go a little out of the box. Our colors are deep red and black. I want a sash/belt on the dress just under the bust line and am debating on a black one. (my dress is alabastor in color). I'm wearing red shoes and here is my inspiration for my birdcage veil that I am attempting to make.
My question is, do you think the black belt and black birdcage is too much? I am also open to suggestion for belt ideas.

www.etsy.com has some great ones! I think black would be very pretty. Maybe do red shoes?
[QUOTE]I agree the belt and hair piece should go together, but do they have to match??

No, and they shouldn't match just have a consistent flow. And I say when choosing jewelry go for one bold piece, maybe a bracelet, since you're going to be in Vegas. I think a bold bracelet will be a great piece since you're already having a flashy headpiece and a colored and/or flashy belt.

I’m a professional wedding stylist and I think this is a great concept.
I would do a beaded belt with dark silver tones; it will give you the dark feel without competing with the veil. A black belt will be too harsh for the rest of your accents.
Have fun in Vegas!
